DIY FPV RC Boat

Like mentioned in the previous post, I’ve build a simple FPV RC Boat. The concept was quite simple: make use of the hardware available for drones and build a boat. I decided to use an IFlight Blitz ATF435 Stack, because it is supported by BetaFlight and INAV. It is actually made for drones and supports four motors. For this build, I decided to use to motors. In that way, I can steer the boat without a rudder. The motors are an overkill, but I already had experience with them in a previous build, and I might design another larger boat. I already had the battery, which is enough for plenty of run time. Unlike a drone, the boat can simply float without any electrical current.

Here is a video of the first test:

I am quite happy with the outcome. I think I spent two days designing and building it in total, and costs were around 130£. The design definitely needs some improvement. I had to limit the throttle to 25% in the software, and it was still too much. The nose would get dangerously close to the water when going a bit faster.
